Requirements

  • Must live within one hour of LAX or Hollywood Burbank airports
  • Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted license in the state of CA with ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service area
  • Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience
  • Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel
  • Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require (primarily within a two-hour drive of Los Angeles ~80%, throughout the state ~20%, via car and airplane, overnight travel ~20%)
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification
  • Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs
  • RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing

Responsibilities

  • Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and the sales team to coordinate the patient’s plan of care
  • Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH
  • Provide infusion training and clinical support to patients and their caregivers to help them understand their complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies
  • Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting
  • Participate in on-call as the business needs require
  • Work from home when not visiting patients
  • Travel via car and airplane to see patients, support the sales team, and for training as needed
