Responsibilities

  • Support compliance, accounting, forecasting, and reporting obligations
  • Assist with completion of tax compliance and reporting by preparing tax returns, information returns, and reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual obligations to government and business stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax payments through analysis and stakeholder collaboration
  • Prepare tax account reconciliations, research reconciling items, and ensure timely corrections
  • Support government audit requirements by preparing documentation and working papers
  • Participate in business initiatives to minimize tax exposure and ensure proper system functionality
  • Monitor legislative developments, assess impact, and ensure compliance
  • Build partnerships with business units to review financial information, drive tax awareness, and identify emerging issues
  • Cross-train and provide backup support for various tax positions
  • Assist in system updates or implementations to enhance tax functions and compliance processes
