Responsibilities

  • Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality to achieve on-time delivery
  • Pack orders with attention to detail, distinguishing between similar products, exact quantity, and correct product codes
  • Ensure products picked are of the highest quality (no damaged products, freshest selection)
  • Correctly document and label all orders using pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc
  • Optimize tote fill by packing space-efficiently while maintaining product quality standards
  • Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction, supporting issues to resolution
  • Adhere to strict safety and food hygiene standards: maintain clean work area, clean up spills/debris, ensure clean totes, operate material handling equipment safely with pre-inspection checks, exhibit behaviors supporting organization's mission and values
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to procedures, productivity, efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality; demonstrate flexibility in work assignments based on customer requests and delivery schedules
  • Receive and organize customer merchandise purchased online for store pick-up
  • Answer customer arrival notifications and deliver purchased merchandise in a timely manner
  • Verify proof of purchase and customer satisfaction
  • Assist customers loading merchandise into vehicle
  • Answer customer calls promptly
