Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Understanding of complex spreadsheets
  • Ability to work with a geographically diverse team
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of at least two of the following: server hardware and software, network hardware and software, data center infrastructure and operations, mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of data center environments (preferred)
  • Ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
  • Ability to move from place to place within an office environment
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to perform occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (some positions)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with drawing updates as required
  • Test CAD applications
  • Perform CAD length calculations and quality checks
  • Perform quality checks on current and future tools
  • Collaborate with various teams to deploy components
  • Assist in developing procedures for future client IT deployments
  • Develop data center, network or lab cable tray designs
  • Support and backup team Project Managers
  • Other duties as required
