  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Business Systems Analyst I - At least 2 years relevant experience
  • Business Systems Analyst II - 3-4 years relevant experience
  • Business Systems Analyst III - 5+ years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of system requirements definition processes and standard methodologies for requirements analysis
  • Ability to support prototyping activities that will validate business requirements and solution definition
  • Ability to apply general organizational knowledge of the business and systems processes in problem analysis
  • Works directly with team members from business sectors and other IT teams
  • Travel is required! Less than <10%
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Translating the needs of customers and business partners into functional requirements and technical specifications to apply business needs to technical applications
  • Define and document internal and external user interfaces, support systems, and data requirements
  • Support prototyping and testing activities that will validate business requirements and solution definition to minimize risk
  • Understands company goals and practices and applies them when resolving a variety of problems
  • Works with business representatives to combine business and technical expertise in the requirements development phase
  • Ensures that business objectives are translated and documented into functional requirements in such a way that the specifications are detailed, accurate and sufficient to be passed on to the applications development personnel for execution
  • Uses judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge to develop and recommend solutions
  • Assists in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks
  • Develops test plans and completes testing for unit and system validation
