Requirements

  • NZ PR or Citizen is mandatory

  • Technical Business analysis background (>3 years) in software or related design
  • Experience of delivering systems solutions to support the needs of the business
  • Experience in analysing and converting User Requirements into Functional Specifications
  • Strong Verbal Communication skills required for customer liaison, interviewing, negotiating, and presentations
  • Strong Written Communication skills required for articulating requirements into having one meaning for all audiences using various media i.e. presentations, specifications
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with Clients at all levels
  • Have experience in the Agile methodology as well as Waterfall environments
  • Understand Test driven development and Continuous integration
  • Have a “Generalist” mind-set, able to wear different hats

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between client and other support groups to identify business processes, systems and product requirements
  • Define and document user, functional and technical requirements
  • Scope and Change Management
  • Assist in the preparation of project workbooks, estimates and schedules
  • Define and document business processes
  • Apply process and quality principles, policies and procedures
  • Facilitate workshops to elicit and elaborate requirements
  • Interpret and understand contractual deliverables including SLA’s
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies and other business development initiatives
  • Develop and conduct training activities for peers and clients
  • Data modelling
  • Stand in for the Project Manager where needed
