Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements from key business users and document them
  • Ensure software developed meets the requirements
  • Work with product owner and subject matter experts to define requirements (user stories) using BDD/Gherkin style acceptance criteria
  • Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and scope subsequent activities for new functionality
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies with the development team and resolve ambiguities during development
  • Own requirements to be built by the team, present stories and journeys, and facilitate requirements workshops
  • Create application documentation for end-users and technical staff as needed
  • Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions interfering with sprint goals
  • Develop thorough understanding of business needs and related processes
  • Work with other BAs and teams to define end-to-end or integration requirements across projects and systems
  • Manage stakeholders, maintain relationships, facilitate requirements gathering and delivery with POs and SMEs
  • Work with QA and project team to validate acceptance criteria, modify/split requirements, participate in estimation and iteration planning
  • Support POs, devs, and tech leads as necessary
  • Assist with user acceptance testing as needed
  • Assist team with story selection, task definition, and making commitments
  • Improve team productivity
  • Receive demos from developers to ensure requirements are met
  • Record minutes and action points for technical and business calls
