Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technology or Business Information Systems
3+ years as a BA or similar role in payments or fintech, with hands-on experience supporting API-Driven products and integrations
Experience with merchant and partner integrations, with a good grasp on how APIs connect systems
Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and translating requirements into user stories and documentation
Experience working within Agile delivery teams and familiarity with tools such as Jira, AzureDevOps and Confluence
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and explain complex concepts
Proactive problem solver with an interest in understanding and resolving complex issues
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and teams
Strong attention to detail, especially in process analysis and documentation
Good critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to analyze complex data and identify solutions
Responsibilities
Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Map and analyze existing business processes, workflows, and system interactions to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
Contribute to solution design, supporting across discovery, design, build, test, and delivery phases
Create comprehensive documentation including process diagrams, data flows, system interactions, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and business rules
Support backlog planning and refinement activities, translating business requirements into epics, features, and user stories
Work closely with teams to develop visuals such as diagrams, wireframes, system/data flow diagrams that clarify requirements
Work with delivery teams to plan, prioritize and coordinate work, ensuring successful implementation of requirements and process improvements
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and working sessions to capture user needs, business objectives, and system capabilities and ensure ongoing alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Contribute to refining business analysis practices, tools, and processes
