Must complete all tasks on the Tyson Foods candidate home page, including providing additional information for hourly production positions

Responsibilities

Ensure product is battered and breaded according to specifications
Perform maintenance and upkeep of equipment
Follow all safety checks and procedures
Perform physical check/assessment of equipment before operating to identify equipment or safety problems
Assemble barrels, batter applicators, XL breaders, and transfer belts
Use tachometer to set line speeds as outlined by Stein guides for XL setting
Get spec on each product being run and set equipment according to specifications (unless management directs otherwise)
Ensure lines are not running or creating breading voids
Clear equipment locks or jams due to non-mechanical reasons in a timely manner
Physically verify all ingredients against specifications before loading the machine
Perform pick-up checks according to McDonalds Specifications
Monitor quality levels of product continuously and notify lead, supervisor, or GPM when problems are detected
Ensure transfers are smooth and do not create defects
Maintain orderly and clean housekeeping at all times and pick up all foreign objects
Continuously check and monitor equipment settings
Service equipment while the line is on break to prevent damage and prepare for next run
At end of last shift, drain and prepare equipment for shutdown and cleaning, cover electrical control boxes/panels to prevent water damage, and clean boxes/panels before covering
Maintain barrel operation along with sifter recycling and equipment
