Responsibilities

Ensure product is battered and breaded according to specifications
Maintain and upkeep equipment, including performing physical checks/assessments before operating to identify equipment or safety problems
Follow all safety checks and procedures
Assemble barrels, batter applicators, XL breaders, and transfer belts
Use tachometer to set line speeds as outlined by Stein guides for XL setting
Get spec on each product being run and set equipment according to specifications (unless management directs otherwise)
Ensure lines are not running or creating breading voids
Clear equipment locks or jams due to non-mechanical reasons in a timely manner
Physically verify all ingredients against specifications before loading the machine
Perform pick-up checks according to McDonalds Specifications
Continuously monitor quality levels of product and notify lead, supervisor, or GPM when problems are detected
Ensure smooth transfers that do not create defects
Maintain orderly and clean housekeeping at all times, picking up all foreign objects
Continuously check and monitor equipment settings/operation
Service equipment during line breaks to prevent damage and prepare for next run
For last shift of day/night: drain and prepare equipment for shutdown and cleaning, cover electrical control boxes/panels to prevent water damage, and clean boxes/panels before covering
Maintain barrel operation along with sifter recycling and equipment
