Requirements

A minimum of 3-5 years of Bookkeeping experience, preferably within a CPA firm
Strong experience with multiple versions of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is desired but not required
Attention to detail
Ability to report to several different individuals within the firm and communicate directly with clients
Strong understanding of how to perform journal entries
Payroll experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

Handling bookkeeping for several of the firm’s clients on a monthly and quarterly basis
Reconciliation of bank statements, credit cards and all balance sheet accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis
Strong understanding of both accrual and cash method of accounting
Experience preferred with integrating QuickBooks with banks and other systems for vendor websites
May occasionally be required to answer incoming phone calls for the office
Interact regularly with the Raiche and Company team, as well as with clients
