Requirements

  • Willingness/ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stretch, turn, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Willingness to work in an outside environment that fluctuates (cold, warm, dusty, damp) with high concentration of allergens in a poultry house
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must not own, possess, or maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Assist broiler farms with vaccinations, pulling blood and fat for testing
  • Handle, pull blood and fat samples, weigh, and vaccinate Breeders and Pullets (chickens) in the field
  • Order, issue, and track inventoried supplies
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Complete paperwork in a timely manner and ship items
