Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or equivalent experience in biosciences
Proven experience in the protein manufacturing field (≥1 year)
Basic proficiency in English
Digital literacy, including MS Office
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Able to work in cleanroom (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc.)
Able to work in cold room/freezers (-22°F/-6°C)
Able to work in environments with loud noises (equipment/machinery)
Able to wear some degree of PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
Able to work with strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.)
Able to work with hazardous/toxic materials

Responsibilities

Independently manufacture products following up-to-date documentation, including culture media preparation from biomass, protein purification, and protein chemical modification
Perform material and product accounting
Ensure timely and accurate protocol documentation, reagent, and material ordering
Maintain clear communication with quality assurance, manufacturing, and client service specialists to improve product manufacturing and improvement
Initiate and participate in process and technology improvement and related documentation updates
