This role requires working onsite at customer locations in the Portsmouth VA area, such as hospitals, and the candidate must be willing to work in that region to provide onsite customer support.
Candidates need an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent military education, internship/apprenticeship, or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years experience servicing electrical/electronics/IT/mechanical equipment), plus a minimum of 2 years servicing medical equipment.
The role requires knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
Candidates must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted, frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods, reach at/above/below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and have good hand and finger dexterity.
Strong candidates have experience working in Operating Room settings or team/site leadership experience, in addition to meeting the required qualifications.
