Candidates must possess an EdS degree in school psychology from a NASP-approved program and a valid state license or certificate as a school psychologist with SEA endorsement. A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience as an on-site school psychologist is required, along with expertise across all NASP domains of practice. Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential, and candidates must have a private workspace with reliable technology for telehealth services. Availability during traditional school hours for at least 15 hours per week is also necessary.
The Bilingual School Psychologist will deliver direct and indirect psychological services to students with IEPs, conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, and develop and monitor IEP goals focused on social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Responsibilities include serving as a member of multidisciplinary teams, consulting with educators and families, and providing telehealth services utilizing virtual meeting platforms.
