Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree holder
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in Accounts Payable
  • Language Proficiency Certificate for French
  • Ability to work on different computer systems and/or ERP (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft and the like)
  • Financial skills, accounting skills, and logical thinking
  • Telephony or voice communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and Word
  • Experience working in a multinational company setting is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, with good problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in French (written and verbal) for bilingual roles

Responsibilities

  • Daily verification and posting of vendor invoices (AP) and employee claims (TE)
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Resolving supplier disputes
  • Proper and timely accounting of liabilities (AP)
  • Timely payment of vendor invoices and/or employee claims
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
  • Load AP transactions to the General Ledger timely and accurately
  • Reconcile assigned accounts and verify propriety of postings and classifications
  • Respond to supplier inquiries and supplier requests for account reconciliation via phone or email
  • Complete month-end tasks timely and accurately
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure timely completion of annual (internal/external) audits
  • Maintain AP work instructions/procedures
  • Ensure compliance with process controls mandatory set by government or organization
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
  • Translation jobs in French language - written and verbal
  • Support other FAH & FAH RX teams for any French language requirement
  • Help colleagues if internal or external parties have language requirements
  • Assist Vendor Master Team with phone call verification where vendors cannot speak English
  • Act as translator for BU meetings where attendees require translation (call or email)
  • Translate and communicate necessary documents from French to English and vice versa
  • Record audio and video translations from French to English and vice versa
