Requirements

  • Minimum of K12 education or equivalent
  • Up to 2 years experience in claims processing, previous medical health care, or analytical experience (or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background)
  • Understanding of state mandates and the plan provisions contained in the certificate of insurance
  • Entry-level position

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the identification of business needs and translate them into application software requirements to support operations and production
  • Collect and analyze data about business needs
  • Assist in determining specific business application software requirements
  • Ensure requirements are incorporated into system designs and testing
  • Build and enter standard benefit plans with the appropriate plan provisions and state mandates for various medical products
  • Research and respond to standard inquiries from various departments
  • Provide onsite support with a focus on customer satisfaction
