Requirements

High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years responsible employment
Experience in Human Services or related field preferred
Bachelor’s Degree, OR MAADC I or II (for St. Louis County programs)
Successful completion of background check, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
First Aid certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and upon renewal date
CPR certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and upon renewal date
Physical ability for sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently; repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms; sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods

Responsibilities

Provide direct and supportive care to clients, including general oversight of day-to-day activities, health monitoring, and crisis intervention
Facilitate group education and structured activities, and transport clients as needed
Monitor client behavior and provide safe, therapeutic, and supportive environments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and participate in required meetings and training sessions
