High School education OR equivalent
Two (2) years responsible employment
Experience in Human Services or related field preferred
Within the first ninety (90) days in position (for Residential Care Facility): Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and be Insulin Certified

Responsibilities

Encourage clients to adhere to program expectations and rules
Participate in treatment teams and document client progress
Facilitate group sessions and educational programs
Provide transportation and support daily activities as needed
Maintain a safe and clean environment, report maintenance issues, and adhere to program policies and procedures
Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients (Residential Facility)
Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and medication administration
Assist with personal care (e.g. grooming, bathing, dressing) as needed
Ensure client safety and supervision, including regular checks
Facilitate client participation in program activities and services
Assist with admission and discharge processes (Residential Care Facility)
Monitor clients for signs and symptoms of withdrawal (Withdrawal Management)
Ensure safe and effective management of withdrawal symptoms
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor effects
Provide support and encouragement throughout the withdrawal process
