Candidates must be a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner with a background in psychology, social work, or a related field, and possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with direct experience in client assessments. Qualified to provide clinical supervision toward clinical licensure, per California state guidelines outlined by the Board of Behavioral Sciences, and knowledge of FoC and CCS policies and procedures are required. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple schedules and strategically plan coverage, are also necessary.
The Behavioral Health Manager oversees the daily operations of the Clinical Intake Assessor team, ensuring service level agreements and coverage needs are met, manages and optimizes schedules, provides direct support and conducts client screenings, offers clinical supervision, serves as a liaison between clients and departments, monitors team performance, provides feedback, implements strategies to improve quality and efficiency, addresses complaints and grievances, partners with Compliance on training, attends meetings, provides recruitment support, and offers performance feedback and developmental opportunities to team members.
