Requirements

  • Experience building a guest-first culture, including consultations, personalized shopping techniques, and selling tactics
  • Knowledge of retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions strategies
  • Skills in leading a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
  • Ability to work a schedule aligning to guest and business needs (early morning, evening, overnight shifts, and weekends)

Responsibilities

  • Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing workload, changes to salesfloor merchandise displays, events, and promotions
  • Partner with Ulta Beauty field leaders to model and maintain elevated service standards in Ulta Beauty at Target
  • Model and instill in your team behaviors around guest engagement, balancing task and service, promoting loyalty programs, and driving sales
  • Model creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging with them welcomingly to solve their specific needs; lead by thanking guests
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly business priorities
  • Lead a team that provides a seamless experience for guests navigating between Ulta Beauty and Core beauty
  • Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development, coaching, and team interactions
  • Support your direct leader to develop a team of consultants
