Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Experience on an assembly line or similar within the manufacturing industry
- Experience assembling electro-mechanical products, preferably battery packs
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Can read a basic drawing and work instructions
- Demonstrates in-process inspection competence
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
- Has both mechanical and technical capacity
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Honest and timely communication
- Self-motivation and positive attitude
- Integrity and Safety
- Located full-time, onsite in New Kensington, PA manufacturing plant
Responsibilities
- Installs/assembles various components, sub-assemblies, and hardware by following written & electronic drawings, work instructions, and specifications
- Maintains inventory of components, hardware and other necessary department items
- Organize assembly area and maintain assembly equipment and tooling
- Contribute ideas and subject matter expertise to the continuous improvement of both the process and documentation
- Communicates with Management, Team leads, Operators, Quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues
- Completes legibly all reports and other associated paperwork
