Two (2) years of experience in a bar or similar environment
Knowledgeable of menu items, including mixture and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standardized recipes; provide food service as needed
Clean and maintain bar equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and proper function
Know menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections
Handle cash, ring sales, prepare daily reports, and follow cash procedures
Train and mentor Apprentice Bartenders and Bar Porters on bar operations and guest service
Manage bar inventory, maintain stock levels, and request products as needed
Address guest complaints within authority or escalate to management; report unusual events or losses
