Requirements

  • BBA/BCom/MCom qualification
  • 1 to 3 years of experience
  • Banking relevant experience, particularly in Com.Bkg- Credit UW - Commercial Credit Underwriting
  • Ability to solve routine problems through precedent and referral to general guidelines
  • Expected interactions within own team and direct supervisor
  • Comfortable working with detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments
  • Ability to make decisions impacting own work
  • Willingness to work as an individual contributor in a team with focused scope
  • Availability to work in rotational shifts

Responsibilities

  • Help clients address quality and productivity issues, keep pace with customer expectations, navigate regulatory and operational pressures, and ensure business sustainability by transforming banking operations into an agile, resilient operating model
  • Support the Corporate banking/Wholesale banking team in processing trade finance transactions by providing superior service delivery to trade customers while safeguarding the bank from associated risks
  • Conduct detailed research on the financial history of businesses to determine their creditworthiness
  • Assess risk parameters of the loan, borrower, and industry, including financial performance of the borrower and guarantor
  • Assess repayment capacity and recommend future course of action for approving/declining/counter offering business loans
