Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow all safety procedures related to the set up and operation of the equipment, including lock-out/tag-out
  • Demonstrate ability to assemble and operate all equipment as designed and understand equipment function
  • Inspect equipment, parts, and dough hooks to verify they are in good repair and sanitary prior to set up
  • Inspect all raw materials for possible contaminants and report discrepancies to Quality Assurance
  • Line Operator: Set up and operate efficiently all product forming, proofing, baking, and cooling equipment on trained lines while maintaining safe work environment and adhering to policies
  • Line Operator: Maintain and submit proper paperwork including downtime sheets, weight sheets, raw material usage sheets, product loss forms, and updated specification sheets
  • Line Operator: Take responsibility for product flow through production line from divider-sheeter through proofer, oven, cooling spiral to packing line
  • Line Operator: Monitor and ensure product quality, making adjustments to maintain specifications
  • Line Operator: Troubleshoot machinery and inform supervision/maintenance of repairs needed
  • Line Operator: Learn applicable G.M.P. and sanitation procedures; perform wash down procedures when needed
  • Line Operator: Maintain and assist in minimizing losses of raw materials and other materials
  • Line Operator: Inspect equipment prior to set up for cleanliness and mechanical deficiencies
  • Line Operator: Complete all QA checks and documentation accurately; complete Q.A. and HACCP paperwork accurately and timely
  • Line Operator: Enter data into and operate CAT2 system; be familiar with company policies, procedures, TQC parameters, HACCP, and GMP’s
  • Mixer: Accurately identify all raw materials used in mixing / blending process
  • Mixer: Assist in accurate verification of proper blend number usage per specified dough formula
  • Mixer: Demonstrate ability to accurately complete and provide all written information required for mixing / blending
  • Mixer: Complete all QA checks and documentation for raw area
  • Mixer: Assist Line Operator with filling dusting and topping hoppers
  • Mixer: Assist in training new employees
  • Mixer: Be responsible for controlling losses of raw materials and mixing
