Responsibilities

  • Supervise the bakery team to deliver on the business plan, communicate goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets member expectations
  • Maintain expertise by ensuring department standards, sharing knowledge, training the team on products, recipes, production specifications, and equipping them for success
  • Leverage digital tools to plan sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate decisions on production/training/quality, and adopt/encourage new tools
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, maintaining a neat/clean/safe work area, planning/staffing for volumes, ensuring quality/food safety/policy consistency, accurate inventory/audit/compliance, and producing/displaying merchandise per layout
  • Act as a talent ambassador by identifying training needs, developing skills for high-quality products, encouraging career growth, and sourcing new talent internally/externally
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by collaborating, analyzing information, monitoring results, and addressing improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; use Open Door Policy; assist with correcting issues
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating work, providing feedback/support, ensuring timelines/quality, and modeling adaptation to change
