Experience with Java Backend, such as RESTful API design and microservice-based architectures
Preferably some exposure to Golang and Python languages
Hands-on experience with computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, and algorithms
Proficiency with testing methodologies, such as unit testing and integration testing
At least 2/3 years of professional experience working in a cross-team environment, contributing to technical and product discussions
Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and improve
Willingness to code and learn in different areas, ranging from Backend to scripting tools
Fluent in English with proficiency to collaborate with a global team
Experience operating in Kubernetes and Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) is desirable

Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues in product and design to define feature specifications and timelines
Solve challenging problems about integrations, scalability, and performance in a complex distributed system to build reliable components
Participate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issues
