Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and demonstrate proven experience building microservices and managing cloud infrastructure, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Typescript, and hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure. They should also have expertise in integrating third-party APIs, a solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong knowledge of database design and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer, Backend Engineering will contribute to the architecting, building, and optimizing backend services and cloud infrastructure, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and architect solutions, mentor and guide junior engineers, develop and maintain GRPC and RESTful APIs and services, integrate 3rd party APIs, ensure the security and scalability of backend systems, monitor and troubleshoot production systems, stay up-to-date with cloud technologies, conduct code reviews, and communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to stakeholders.
