At least 3-5+ years of experience building and shipping highly-available, fault-tolerant, production-ready distributed backend systems
Experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala) and confidence in building, debugging, and shipping microservices

Pride in consistent high levels of test coverage, strong technical documentation, and effective monitoring

Responsibilities

Part of the Brokerage - Fraud team, enhancing blockchain.com’s fraud prevention mechanisms
Work with risk, compliance teams and partners (SardineAI and Sift) to resolve customer issues
Advocate best practices, code quality, test coverage, and drive technical discussions
Optimize existing systems for scalability, extensibility, and performance, building reusable, modular code
Ensure security is at the forefront, employing advanced encryption schemes
Work within interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software
