Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles. Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and data management best practices is essential. Experience with data governance tools and technologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The AVP, Data Governance will assist in spearheading Voya’s data governance program, ensuring proper controls are in place to mitigate risk. This role will be responsible for assisting with information governance and data life cycle management, along with the exploitation of data assets to create business value. The individual will contribute to the development and implementation of the Enterprise Data Governance Framework, drive data quality strategies, appoint data stewards, and interface with various operational organizations to ensure data consistency and compliance.
