This is an onsite position located in Mountain View, California.
Required skills include 2+ years in mechanical or avionics hardware design, ability to route harnessing in CAD and physically, experience with connectors, backshells, EMI shielding, cable protection, designing structural mounts, and logical, inquisitive soft skills with eagerness to teach and learn.
You'll be part of the Vehicle Design and Integration team, working cross-functionally with avionics, mechanical, and integration teams on hardware design, installation, and testing for remotely operated aircraft.
Strong candidates have a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 2+ years in hardware design with preferred 4+ years in harness design and avionics packaging, experience with NX routing, Capital Harness Designer, DO-160 testing, and certification-path projects, plus a passion for spatial packaging.
