Ability to apply protocols for patient care, nutrition, hydration, FAVI self-care, and hygiene
Familiarity with dialysis monitors, materials, and medical prescriptions
Understanding of occupational risk prevention and safety measures, including use of protective equipment

Responsibilities

Accompany patients from entry to the clinic, assist during their stay, monitor general condition and changes since last dialysis, and collaborate in transfers of dependent patients
Provide necessary patient care applying corporate protocols
Support the nursing team in administering prescribed medication and performing dialysis treatment according to prescriptions, procedures, and guidelines
Implement medical prescriptions related to nutrition, hydration, FAVI self-care, and patient hygiene
Report any detected alterations in patients, monitors, or consumable materials for dialysis treatment
Control and record patient temperature and weight at the start and end of dialysis
Check and prepare dialysis monitors and materials before hemodialysis according to internal instructions and protocols, verifying each patient's medical plan
Disinfect dialysis monitors internally and externally according to protocols and register them
Prepare food for patients and collaborate in food orders
Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of rooms, sofas, shelves, etc., at the end of each dialysis shift when necessary
Ensure cleaning of treatment carts and their contents
When required, check stock in different rooms and replenish it following instructions
Collaborate with the clinic's Resources Manager on maintenance tasks, facility control, water plant, equipment, warehouse, and environmental aspects
Support the safety culture by following Occupational Risk Prevention guidelines (observing safety measures, using protective equipment, etc.)
