Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python and scripting for automation
Proven experience in automation frameworks like Squish/TestComplete/Robot Framework
Experience in Linux-based systems
Familiarity with medical device standards (e.g., IEC 62304 - SDLC, ISO 13485)
Exposure with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, simulators)
Strong experience in BDD and TDD
Bachelor's Degree in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
9+ years' experience, with minimum 7+ years in test automation
Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging testing and debugging complex design problems
Strong experience in test automation development using Python and Squish

Responsibilities

Develop the overall automation strategy for a next-generation embedded IoMT system
Strategize and execute end-to-end automated verification
Work with software developers to implement integration and verification automation at all levels of the software system
Design and implement automation frameworks tailored for embedded medical devices
Develop and maintain test benches for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), firmware, and system-level testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into CI/CD/CT pipelines
Ensure test coverage for functional, security, interoperability, performance, reliability, and safety requirements
Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results for regulatory audits
Mentor and guide automation engineers
Design functional and automated tests and test harnesses for applications and services under test
Drive a culture of quality through different testing approaches (design tests, exploratory, unit tests)
Work closely with PO and LSDs to understand requirements and translate them to feature file scenarios
Ensure all deliverables of a sprint are adequately tested with respect to sub-system requirements in an Agile culture
Communicate effectively in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, global environment
Leverage GENAI to optimize automation test development and reduce test execution time
Represent the team and report progress to leadership
