Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing of glass equipment and glass apparatuses (single and series production)
  • Development of new glass apparatuses according to customer requirements
  • Repair of defective glass devices
  • Measurement and adjustment of finished products, including voltage measurement and scaling attachment
  • Connection of pre-fabricated elements through reheating and fusing, as well as inserting metal, ceramic, or plastic parts
  • Drilling of holes in cold processing and grinding, polishing, coating, or silvering of glass surfaces
  • Shaping of raw blanks through rotating, bending, pulling, narrowing, expanding, and blowing
  • Heating of raw blanks in hot processing with burners or blowers
  • Cutting of glass tubes or glass rods to size
  • Selection of glass types according to the requirements of the final product
  • Planning of workflows and provision of processing tools
  • Use of manufacturing documents and technical drawings
