Position Overview

ConnectOS is seeking a skilled Accounting Professional with a strong background in Australian accounting practices to join an exciting team. This role is crucial for managing end-to-end financial processes and ensuring compliance with Australian financial regulations.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Australian accounting practices.
• Industry: Prior experience in the construction industry or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Australian Compliance: Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and superannuation requirements.
• Software Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in Xero, including experience with Xero Payroll.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • In-depth understanding of GST, BAS, and general Australian accounting standards.
  • Confidence using MS Office, SimPro, Monday.com, and other accounting/project management software.
• Skills: High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Nice to Have:
  • CRM Software experience.
  • Other project management / job management software experience.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling weekly timesheets using the job management system.
• Preparing and running payroll accurately using Xero.
• Handling customer payments and ensuring smooth transaction processing.
• Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Providing general office support, including administrative tasks and generating reports.
• Ensuring compliance with Australian financial regulations, including payroll legislation, superannuation, GST, and BAS requirements.
• Taking ownership of end-to-end financial processes to support efficient operations and accurate reporting.
• Assisting with other finance or administrative ad hoc tasks as required.

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Salary: P50,000 - P70,000 (Monthly Package)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (07:00 AM - 04:00 PM PHT)
