Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree, the Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation, and MAAA credential. Strong communication skills are essential, along with a passion for improving consumer experiences. Medicare Advantage experience, a finance background, proficiency in SAS, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience presenting to senior leaders are preferred qualifications. Responsibilities
The Associate Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting will analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to support strategic and operational decisions. This role involves establishing metrics, conducting data analyses, and supporting business intelligence initiatives. The associate will evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's financial and competitive position. Responsibilities include ensuring data integrity through process and control development, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, troubleshooting problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing resolutions for data anomalies. The role will also involve working with various data requests and performing valuations to inform financial strategy related to the Medicare Advantage line of business.
