Requirements

  • Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
  • Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) preferred
  • At least one software engineering internship (or equivalent co-op/project) with hands-on coding responsibilities
  • Familiarity & some experience in building Angular applications and Spring Boot (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with PM/UX to clarify user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Design and develop Angular components, modules, and services with strong routing strategies, guards, and lazy loading
  • Implement secure route guards (e.g., CanActivate, CanLoad) and HTTP interceptors for auth, error handling, and observability
  • Write front-end unit tests with Jasmine and Karma, maintain high coverage and deterministic tests
  • Build RESTful APIs with Spring Boot, including controllers, services, and repositories. Follow consistent API contracts and versioning
  • Write back-end unit tests with JUnit and Mockito. Implement Spring Boot integration tests using @SpringBootTest, MockMvc
  • Integrate with databases (Oracle) using Spring Data JPA/Hibernate. Write performant queries and handle transactions
  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance across UI and API layers. Profile, log, and instrument code for observability
  • Follow SDLC best practices: Git feature branching, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain onboarding guides, runbooks, API/feature notes, and ADRs
