Ability to maintain detailed tracking and documentation clearly and accurately according to SOP

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Compliance with cleanroom conditions: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc
Ability to stand for full shift in fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold) in a laboratory setting

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of simple inventory tracking procedures (receipt, check-in, login, labeling, inventory, transport, check-out, etc.) and administrative tasks in support of laboratory operations
Communicate status of tasks to supervisor and/or appropriate laboratory staff
Train on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements
Support response to environmental unit alarms and may participate in on-call responsibilities
Perform daily work assignments accurately, timely and in a safe manner
Complete receipt of shipments and begin storage processes with samples on dry ice and in -70-degree Centigrade freezer units (specific to second shift)
Follow SOPs, applicable client procedures, and fulfill laboratory requests with modest direct supervision
Provide support to Sample Coordinator and perform administrative tasks in the Sample Management department
