Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop sub-project charter and management plan
Recommend tradeoffs within project
Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with manager for approval
Outline major workstreams
Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline
Assist in the development of a detailed project Gantt chart
Manage a sub-project timeline
Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish sub-project budget
Monitor and maintain costs within budget
Partner with sub-project teams to establish project Quality Plans
Monitor and maintain Quality Plans
Create a risk register and management plan for the sub-project
Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop sub-project risk response plan
Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan
Develop a sub-project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements
Define the role, responsibility and deliverables for each team member
Work with project or program manager to provide input to functional performance reviews
Create a Stakeholder register for the sub-project
Assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan
Support the development of a project communications management plan or develop a sub-project communications plan
Gain stakeholder trust and maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, including development teams and sponsors
Stay calm under pressure timelines and seek to add additional responsibility where appropriate
Drive results consistently
Communicate and present effectively to diverse audiences
Network to improve individual job performance
Understand how goals fit into broader organizational goals
Build customer-centric solutions that are flexible and incorporate customer feedback quickly
Consolidate large amounts of data to make timely and durable decisions free of personal bias
