Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 0-2 years of exposure in Process Validation and Development within the Medical Device Industry or Pharmaceutical Industries
  • Background/knowledge in applications and software such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SolidWorks
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Knowledge in the application and principles of Manufacturing/Process Engineering
  • Knowledge in Project Management
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work successfully in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment

Responsibilities

  • Generate and execute validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV, TQF, Process Characterization and Process Validation based on equipment capabilities)
  • Execute cost improvement, product/process, and technology transfer projects
  • Conduct process equipment installation/operational/performance qualification studies to test their functionality
  • Support operational qualification assessments that will validate critical operating parameters are within qualified parameters
  • Support New Products Introduction (NPI) and Process transfer activities in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Manage and execute cost improvement, product/process, and technology transfer projects through the different phases
  • Coordinate work with corresponding functional areas for new or replaced equipment, or process changes
  • Other duties as assigned
