Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, and/or related field
  • 6+ years of professional/related experience
  • Strong understanding of EDI standards, protocols (AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN), and transaction sets (e.g., 850, 810, 856)

Responsibilities

  • Full management responsibility for an EDI operations team, including defining roles, mentoring, performance management, and contributing to compensation decisions
  • Foster a high-performing team culture by leading with emotional intelligence, empowering direct reports, and driving results through collaboration
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to anticipate future departmental needs and foster operational improvements that support growth and team success
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day EDI operations and metrics, exception reduction, partner onboarding, and issue resolution by managing expectations and scope
  • Select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external trading partners to ensure accurate and timely data exchange
  • Support and execute EDI strategy aligned with business objectives, including new customer integrations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Represent the voice of the customer in EDI strategy and process enhancements
  • Support, maintain and enhance EDI maps, configurations, and training documentation (SOPs)
  • Monitor team performance metrics and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy by demonstrating financial literacy
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies while evaluating and presenting opportunities to monetize or strategically reposition day-to-day EDI services
