Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and draft high-value, sophisticated customer agreements, including international contracts, with attention to cross-border regulations, IP protections, and data privacy obligations
  • Monitor and interpret evolving domestic and international regulations, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Provide thoughtful legal counsel on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk tolerance
  • Lead or contribute to the development of internal policies and best practices related to intellectual property, data privacy, cybersecurity, compliance, and international legal frameworks
  • Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks associated with healthcare and AI product development, commercialization, and international expansion
  • Depending on expertise and interest, take ownership of additional legal functions such as employment law, corporate governance, patent strategy, or government affairs
