Requirements

Proficiency with SAS programming and statistical methodology, including applying new and varied methods
Deep technical skills to drive solutions to complex design and analysis issues
Ability to select and justify statistical methods for data analysis
Knowledge of relevant disease states to enhance customer focus and collaboration
Understanding of current technologies, tools, and advances for clinical trial analysis
Experience in regulatory compliance, including corporate, medical, local, and departmental policies, procedures, processes, and training

Responsibilities

Collaborate with statistical colleagues, physicians, medical colleagues, study personnel, and data management to develop statistical analysis plans, data quality assurance plans, and reporting databases
Author sections of data analysis plans, conduct clinical trial data analysis, and implement analysis plans
Maintain proficiency in SAS programming and statistical methods; utilize tools for analysis
Conduct peer-reviews of work products from statistical colleagues
Communicate study results via reports, regulatory submissions, manuscripts, one-on-one with customers, and responses to regulatory queries
Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced staff members
Ensure replication of tools and systems where applicable and stay informed of technology advances
Perform work in full compliance with applicable policies, procedures, processes, and training (if assigned Group Leader role):
Ensure direct reports have Performance Management (PM) and Development plans
Conduct interim and final PM reviews to evaluate performance, business results, and impact
Provide input on consensus evaluation for merit increase and promotion
Contribute to development of direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
Manage workload of direct reports
