Responsibilities

  • Establish clear, viable, and compelling medical communications execution plan aligned with TA-specific strategy, overall Medical vision/objectives, including timely delivery of high-quality medical publications, scientific content, medical education, medical information, and congress presentations
  • Understand communication needs across markets; own pull-through and execution of Scientific Narrative, development & execution of integrated publication plan, content plan, and application to Scientific Communication Platform (SCP)
  • Lead development of medical communications, ensuring timely journal submissions, publications, congress presentations, and delivery of internal/external scientific content
  • Serve as subject matter expert to BMS internal audiences on communication landscape, HCP preferences, etc.; represent BMS scientific communications to external investigators, key authors, and journal editors
  • Lead internal process improvements to ensure ethical, credible leadership in publications & scientific content; align with Good Publication Practices and industry standards; ensure integrity, quality, transparency
  • Provide oversight to team for development/execution of integrated medical communications plans; adjust plans based on clinical trial results/milestones and healthcare landscape changes
  • Demonstrate scientific expertise to build collaborations with internal/external experts for quality data analysis, interpretation, communication planning, and dissemination
