Barred in at least one state with the ability to register as in-house counsel in New York
4+ years of post JD relevant work experience in the healthcare regulatory space
Excellent legal research and writing skills

Responsibilities

Review and update the organization on new healthcare laws which may impact the organization
Perform legal research and writing for both lawyers and the clinical/operations team
Review Business Associate and Data Use Agreements
Advise on relevant federal and state healthcare regulations that impact our organization
Manage licensing and regulatory filings related to operating a risk-bearing, multi-state, physician group
Help regulatory team manage strategic and/or operational initiatives to satisfy regulatory concerns and/or comply with related requirements
Serve as a regulatory generalist and support all regulatory term attorneys with privacy, telemedicine, scope of practice, billing, coding and other relevant federal and state healthcare regulations
