Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in business, law, finance or related field
  • 24 months of experience in the job offered, or as a financial analyst, or closely related role
  • Two years of experience performing financial modeling on new or existing financial products, including analysis on expected cash flow, expected returns, and turnover
  • Two years of experience leading projects to launch or improve Latin American ETFs and Mutual Funds and collaborating with Trading, Portfolio Management, Operations, and Legal
  • Two years of experience working in Latin American markets or with Latin American domiciled financial instruments
  • Two years of experience performing tax impact analysis on optimal location for product domiciles
  • One year of experience in Bloomberg financial software, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Development and improvement of ETFs, Alternatives, and Mutual Funds distributed to Latin American investors
  • Work on projects relating to Latin American domicile products and products designed for Latin American clients domiciled in the US and Europe
  • Identify and evaluate new product opportunities and manage projects and initiatives
  • Support local ETFs, cross-listed ETFs, and alternatives products, taking part in the full life cycle including product design, implementation, ongoing maintenance, product improvement, product education, product marketing, and distribution initiatives
  • Evaluate new product ideas for commercial viability and communicate key product attributes and features to investors
  • Own project management of ongoing development in local regional ETF product range (Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil)
  • Lead development initiatives for US and UCITS iShares ETFs
  • Assist in expanding the cross-listing platform into new markets in Latin America
  • Partner with teams across BlackRock to identify and evaluate new product ideas
  • Take part in projects expanding the BlackRock alternatives platform in Latin America
  • Partner with sales and investment teams to support product offering
