Diploma or associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
1+ years of experience in surveying, land measurement, or construction layout
Basic proficiency in surveying instruments (Total Stations, GPS, Laser Levels, etc.)
Familiarity with surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or similar tools)
Strong mathematical and analytical skills for measuring and interpreting data
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and navigate construction sites
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with surveyors and engineers
Attention to detail and ability to follow precise technical instructions

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to safety standards, surveying regulations, and project specifications
Assist in land, topographic, and construction site surveys using Total Stations, GPS, and other surveying instruments
Support site layout and staking out, ensuring structures and infrastructure align with engineering plans
Collect, record, and process survey measurements, elevations, and site conditions
Operate and maintain surveying equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
Help prepare survey maps, reports, and technical drawings for engineering and construction teams
Collaborate with surveyors, civil engineers, and project managers to provide accurate site data
Support in monitoring ground movement, settlement, and site deformations for stability assessments
Use surveying software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, or Trimble/Leica systems) for data processing and visualization
Assist in marking control points and benchmarks for ongoing construction activities
Perform general fieldwork duties, including setting up equipment, marking reference points, and maintaining documentation
