  • 3+ Years Experience in Asset-Liability Management, Liquidity Risk Management, Interest-Rate Risk Management, Funds Transfer Pricing - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports the day-to-day management of Interest Rate Risk across all Santander US entities
  • Provides senior analysis in support of day-to-day execution of Asset-Liability operations related to the measurement, monitoring and reporting of interest rate risk
  • Analyzes and manages exposure to interest rate changes, measures Net Interest Income (NII) and Economic Value of Equity (EVE)
  • Conducts stress tests and scenario analyses under various interest rate/macroeconomic environments
  • Performs/assists in NII/MVE analysis for monthly production and ad-hoc requests from senior management
  • Partners with Finance and Business Units to ensure alignment of assumptions and forecasts
  • Partners with Market Risk Management and Global Treasury to ensure alignment on risk management strategies
  • Validates the accuracy of internal reporting of financial and market data
  • Performs variance, reconciliation and forecasting analysis of key financial and market data
  • Ensures adherence to established standards and risk limits
  • Contributes to a strong internal control environment by executing and reporting on SOX controls
  • Ensures treasury policies, practices and procedures are understood, followed and are up-to-date
  • Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders
