Requirements

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical school or associate degree preferred, and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electronics or mechanical assembly, ideally within the medical device or regulated industry. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards is a plus, along with knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485 compliance.

Responsibilities

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling electronic components and electro-mechanical device sub-assemblies according to detailed specifications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, inspecting and testing assemblies for functionality, maintaining accurate production records, and working closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes, all while adhering to safety protocols and utilizing ESD-safe practices.
