Previous Assembly experience (Basic Qualification)
Previous leadership experience (Top Qualification)
Knowledge of all assembly procedures, standard work schedules, quality requirements, and build requirements in assigned work area
Ability to use various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties, including lifting devices for components weighing more than 35 lbs
Ability to follow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work
Ability to keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize work
Physical ability (with or without reasonable accommodation): sit or stand for prolonged periods, perform repetitive operations, lift up to 35 lbs

Responsibilities

Perform assembly duties using tools and lifting devices
Perform other related work duties as assigned
Train new and develop existing employees
Act as liaison between team members and section managers
Serve as first point of contact for questions related to employee job functions
Perform administrative functions and may be accountable for daily team PQVC metric boards
Provide input on schedule/build adjustments
Communicate with cross-functional leaders
Rely on independent decision-making and problem-solving to complete job tasks
Communicate potential build schedule, inventory, or manpower issues and solutions to section manager
Contribute as a team member
